Municipal Clients
Having an inside knowledge of and experience with the respective municipal and public organization insurance providers, K&M can guide municipal clients in achieving “Tier Three Compliance” as established by the MEL. If a municipality achieves Tier Three Compliance it is provided a reimbursement of its deductible in the amount of $25,000.00 (which is the same amount as the current per claim deductible). K&M is also able to provide support in the event of a cyber incident as a “breach coach”.
Financial Considerations
Through our significant GO experience, we are able to advise and provide support to grant writers to help our clients acquire funds through programs implemented by the State and through the Federal Government, including the Department of Homeland Security. Notably, commencing in the third quarter of 2022, the Department of Homeland Security will be allocating $200,000,000.00 (with increased amounts for two subsequent years) for cyber security grants which K&M can work with your grant writers to ascertain if your organization is eligible to receive a portion of those funds.
